Jail

Jail reduces civic authority to stone, doorway, and enclosure. The open entrance and blank window create a stark, almost archaeological presence, as if the building has outlasted the system of order and consequence it once represented. The image is spare and direct, allowing the structure’s weight and silence to carry the story.
