Loading Dock

Loading Dock moves behind the public face of commerce into the working space where goods arrive, wait, and move again. The pallets, truck bay, red reflections, and open doorway suggest labor occurring just outside ordinary view. KM Smith turns this service entrance into a charged nocturnal stage, where supply, movement, and hidden work become visible.

Collector note. This photograph deepens the series by revealing the back-of-house systems that support the lit storefronts and public-facing spaces.
