Vape turns a brightly lit storefront into a stage of commercial urgency and artificial light. The glowing signs, crowded windows, surveillance cameras, parked car, and empty nighttime pavement create a scene that feels both ordinary and unsettling. KM Smith uses the language of retail excess—neon, reflection, signage, and repetition—to transform a familiar strip-mall facade into an image about appetite, visibility, and the strange theater of late-night commerce.

Collector note. This photograph is one of the more electric images in the series, where color and signage become both subject and atmosphere. Its strength lies in the tension between attraction and unease.
